Terms & Conditions
The following terms have been tailored throughout years of design self-employment to protect both the client and designer during a working relationship.
Billing & Payment Terms:
50% of estimated graphic design and contingency costs are due upon beginning a project. Payment must be made before any work is started on a project. There are NO refunds on deposits after 2 days, only design credit applied to the account. The Creative Vue reserves the right to invoice client at any time if project extends beyond projected completion date, or if the number of billable hours on the project exceeds the estimated project time. After the final payment for a website is received, any work thereafter will be billed at an hourly web rate.
Restart Fee:
If your project is stagnant (no communication or progress) for 30+ calendar days, our “Restart Fee” in the amount of $275 will be applied to ensure that you are serious and committed to completing the project. This fee is applied each time your project has no progress for the 45 days. NOTE: $100 of the $275 is applied to final invoice. Fee subject to change without notice.
Printing Agreement:
The purchase amount on your invoice is good for 180 days from date of purchase. After this time, The Creative Vue reserves the right to convert your payment into store credit and applied to a new order at the current pricing listed on our website.
Payment Methods:
Payment is due upon receipt. Invoices may be paid by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express via paypal) or check. A $35 fee will be assessed for all returned checks.
Late Fees:
– 15 days late = 5% of total invoice amount will be applied to invoice or $15, whichever is greater
– 30 days late = 8% of total invoice amount will be applied to invoice or $30, whichever is greater
– 45 days late = 10% of total invoice amount will be applied to invoice or $50, whichever is greater
Terms of Purchase:

Communication:
The designer can be reached by telephone and email from Monday to Friday between 10:00am and 4:30pm EST.
Rights & Ownership:
Rights: All services provided by the designer shall be for the exclusive use of the client other than for the designer’s promotional use. Upon payment of all fees, the following reproduction rights for all approved final designs created by the designer for this project shall be granted:
- Client to gain full transferable rights to brand identity.
- Client to gain full license to reproduce works through commercial printers.
Ownership: The client shall be entitled to full ownership of all final artwork created during the project upon full payment of the agreed fee.
